Creekside Yurt Reviews

Roxann Jeppesen

“Fantastic evening! I eat vegan and eating out is usually a pain since good vegan cooking seems to be a challenge for most restaurants but the dinner provided by WAO at the Creekside Yurt was hands down the best food I have had. The setting was perfect with the cozy yurt and big warm fire. Nice crisp clean air and big fat snow flakes falling.”

Julie Warshauer

“ Our children gave us the awesome experience of a snowshoe to the yurt for Christmas last year. Fortunately our son and his fiancée live in Heber and were able to join us! This was such a fun, adventurous, delicious experience! We had never done anything like this before, and loved every minute. It totally exceeded our expectation. It was a beautiful evening to snowshoe and our guide, one of the owners, was terrific. As we approached the yurt we couldn’t believe how charming and comfortable it was! We were welcomed by the other owner, the guides darling wife. They both made us feel so comfortable, with a fire outside, and yummy fondue appetizer inside the yurt. We were warm and so happy! And the dinner! I’d like to get the butternut squash soup recipe because it was the best I’d ever tasted. The entree was equally delicious as was dessert! After a fantastic and very memorable evening, we all snowshoe back to our cars. It really was an evening will we always remember so fondly. We highly recommend this outstanding experience!”
