Rental Policies

GEAR AVAILABILITY. At certain times, inventory may not be available for your desired start date. If gear does not appear to be available, please give us a call and we’ll see what we can do to help!

CANCELLATIONS. If you cancel your order within 1 week of your pick up date, no fees will be charged. Later cancellations will result in a $25.00 processing fee charged to your card, since we went to the trouble of setting the gear aside and renting it to someone else. Any cancellations done within 48 hours of your rental will result in loss of deposit.

DEPOSITS. A 50% deposit will be taken on your desired card at check out. This deposit will go towards the final cost of your rental.  t.

DAMAGES. Our rental rate assumes a limited amount of wear which may occur with a rental use. However, rips, tears, excessive dirt or stains, mildew, or missing parts noted upon return will result in additional charges against your credit card for repair or replacement.

LIABILITY. You will be required to sign a liability form before leaving the shop with your rental gear, or before your next guided adventure. By signing this waiver you are acknowledging that cooking with fire, camping in the wilderness, or spending the day enjoying an outdoor activity is unpredictable and can be dangerous. We are not responsible for any accidents that may happen during your activity or use of our gear. You agree to indemnify us from any claims, charges, or costs that arise from any injury during your adventure.

LATE CHARGES.  Late charges can be expected if you do not return the gear on your required drop off date and time. If you are late your rental will extend for the amounted time slot you have kept your gear, plus you will be charged a $30 late fee charge.

LOSS/THEFT/NON-RETURN. Once you leave with the gear it is your responsibility. Any equipment or gear that is not returned due to loss, theft, or any other reason, will be bought by the guest. Be smart, put gear away while when adventuring away from your site, and please be responsible for all equipment that is rented.
